• There can only be one active group at a time. Each time you invoke 'Group', you have replaced the current group with
a new one. The current group stays in effect until you exit HyperCard. If you want to clear the group, type "put empty into objectList" into the message box. ('objectList' is a global variable.)
• Objects that are positioned behind others are difficult to group. If you can, move them so they don't overlap, or use the alternate way of grouping by indicating a rectangular area.
• Altho' objects are pasted into the same layer that they came from (background or card), they cannot be guaranteed to retain their IDs when copied and pasted. And, if background objects are pasted into the same background, they will be duplicates of the originals.
• If you are using the 'menuField', remember that the Paste operation works differently than it does from the stack script.
Command-V will give you the choice of pasting the menuField
OR the group. 'Paste', chosen from the field, pastes the group.
